Terms and Conditions

Halfords Gift Cards T&Cs
 
  1. Halfords Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards are redeemable against any goods or services online, in our stores and/or in our garages.
  2. Gift Cards cannot be redeemed against the purchase of another Gift Card.
  3. You may hold up to a total of £1000 on a Gift Card at any one time.
  4. You may use a combination of up to three separate Halfords Gift Cards in one transaction online. You may redeem as many as you like in store.
  5. Halfords Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards are non-refundable.
  6. The balance of the Gift Card cannot be returned in cash in the event of theft, loss or damage. The unredeemed balance will remain on the card.
  7. No change, vouchers or refunds will be given on any remaining balance.
  8. Gifts Cards can be used as full or partial payment, but cannot be used in conjunction with finance.
  9. A Gift Card will expire 24 months after its last use without notice and any balance cannot be refunded.
  10. You should be aware that you will be adding funds to a Halfords pre-paid gift card and not a bank account or equivalent and that any pre-payments made to Halfords are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
  11. Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards are issued by Halfords Ltd. B98 0DE.
  12. Halfords reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without notice.
  13. By activating and/or redeeming a Halfords Gift Card you accept and agree to these terms and conditions.
  14. The balance of a gift card can be checked in a Halfords store at any till, or online via our balance checker.​

Other T&Cs for Gift Cards purchased online

 

  1. Sales of Halfords Gift Cards are made, managed and fulfilled by Voucher Express - a trading name of Hemingways Marketing Services Ltd, Metcalfe House, 23H Kirkgate, Ripon. HG4 1PB, established 1947 and registered in England 453174. VAT Reg No: 169725424. Voucher Express is the seller of the Gift Cards.
  2. Gift Cards ordered through this site will be sent by Voucher Express to the delivery address(es) stated on each individual order. Deliveries will be made using Royal Mail services. 
  3. Gift Cards will normally be dispatched by Voucher Express within two working days unless a specified later delivery date is requested. Where possible we will try to meet all delivery requirements but neither Voucher Express nor Halfords shall be liable for any loss incurred either directly or indirectly by failure to meet the delivery date and time indicated at the time of order being placed. ‘Loss’ in this instance includes loss of profit, costs, damages, charges or other expenses.
  4. Risk will pass to the customer upon delivery and title will pass upon receipt of payments in full. Neither Voucher Express nor Halfords can be held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards following delivery to the recipient. Gift Cards will NOT be replaced or refunded if lost, stolen or damaged. Neither Voucher Express nor Halfords is responsible for funds on the card used without your knowledge.
  5. Halfords Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash and cash refunds will not be available for products purchased with this card. Voucher Express is not directly linked to Halfords and can take no responsibility for products and services offered by Halfords. For the same reason, Halfords shall not be responsible for services offered by Voucher Express and its associated companies, including without limitation the collection and management of your credit card data and personal information which is collected, processed and managed by Voucher Express.
  6. Gift Card quantities should be checked immediately upon receipt. Any discrepancies must be notified immediately. Voucher Express cannot be held responsible for shortage or loss of any Gift Cards not notified to us within three days of delivery.
  7. Cleared payment is required prior to the dispatch of orders. Payment is taken automatically at the time of purchase by Voucher Express. Your credit/debit card statement will read 'Voucher Express'. We reserve the right to decline any order without providing explanation. Halfords will not be given access to your credit/debit card details.
  8. Halfords Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash. Gift Cards which are defaced, altered or cancelled will not be accepted in Halfords stores.
  9. The re-sale of Gift Cards sold via this website is strictly prohibited.
  10. Your use of this website is governed by these Terms and Conditions and construed and enforced in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Disputes arising from your use of this website and the services we provide are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  11. Force Majeure: Voucher Express cannot be held responsible for failure to meet its service obligations when any failure is brought about due to some cause totally beyond its reasonable control. Examples of this might include: acts of God, trade disputes; governmental intervention, fire, flood, and disruption to computer and IT infrastructure.
  12. Breach of these conditions will entitle Voucher Express to seek the appropriate legal remedy available for injunction, damages or otherwis

 

Halfords eGift Cards T&Cs
 
  1. Validly activated £ Sterling eGift Cards are redeemable in full or part payment for merchandise from Halfords Stores within the UK.
  2. Halfords eGift Cards may not be exchanged for cash or vouchers
  3. The minimum amount to activate this card is £5 and the maximum credit amount is £250.
  4. There is no right to cancel an online eGift Card order once the eGift Card has been spent in full or part.
  5. The eGift Card will expire 24 months after the last use or balance enquiry and any remaining balance will be deducted.
  6. A Halfords eGift Card remains the property of Halfords.
  7. Halfords cannot be held liable for eGift Cards, once activated, which are subsequently lost, stolen, damaged or defaced.
  8. The funds on an eGift Card are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. In the unlikely event of the issuer of this product becoming insolvent some funds on the Card may not be available to spend.
  9. Halfords reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time where it reasonably considers it necessary to do so (e.g. to change the scope of the Gift Card service, notify of the service's withdrawal or in the event of circumstances beyond its control). Reasonable notice of such changes will be given where possible.
  10. By activating and/or redeeming a Halfords eGift Card you accept and agree to these terms and conditions.
